Schwagg question from a roadie to a fixie
 

Hi everybody I don't know if I spelled schwagg right in the title, but there it is. I've been off the forum for a while but to re-introduce myself I'm a fairly die-hard mtb guy who made the transition to road bikes once I moved to they city. After asking a thousand dumb questions on BF I got smart and now I like riding but also building my own contraptions of bikes, and of course I'd like to give the requisite "**** off" anyone who deigns to scoff at my design.

The other day I was waiting in line to get into the Avett Bros show and someone had parked a bike outside. It was a fantastic little bike but one thing in particular caught my attention (it doesn't take much). The bike had a flat bar, but the bar drooped down just ever so slightly towards the ground. That is, it was bent like some big fat guy grabbed the grips and and leaned on it until he bend the handlebar downwards towards the ground a little bit.

I really like it but for the life of me I've never seen it before, and this is from someone who busts out the calipers when it comes to shopping for drop bars.

It wasn't an inverted flat bar that had rise to it. The whole thing was just curved downward. Has anyone ever seen this? I thought I'd ask here because you guys are going to be the most up-to-speed on the latest schwagg.

I, of course, realize that droopy handlebars serve no purpose, but they resonated with me for some reason and I have to find them.

there are slightly curved flatbars out there. (i see many on older kmart quality mtn bikes) maybe he chopped them and pointed the curves down?

its swagg. like to have swagg. to have style that sets you apart. schwagg is ***ty weed. just a quick urbandictionary look! Take some time and look around it there is some funny stuff if you have immature humor.

those bars do not sound comfortable at all.

yeah, i agree. having bars that make your wrists angle in such a way that your pinky is lower than your thumb is not only uncomfortable, but bad for yo' wrists.
