Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i dont even know enough of the local terminology to buy pot, I am ok with that.
I am from alabama, I ride a rode bike normally, and I sew. Does it really matter if i say cali?

i'm pretty sure the only acceptable names are "san francisco", "sf" and "the city" (which of course works for any city, but in the bay area, it obviously only means one)

horse ****, only people who aren't from san francisco, then move there, live there for a two years, then get down on people for saying frisco--because people from frisco, won't say "frisco", won't say frisco. there are thousands of frisco natives who will call it "frisco", two of them being my parents (who still live there) and dozens of their friends... we/they also call it "SF" and "the city"

i'll back the fact that we don't really say "cali" though...
