LP18s vs DP18s
 

What is the difference?

DP18's are more aero (similar to deep v's) LP18's are less aero.

L= Low
D= Deep
P= Profile
18= 18mm outer width.

What about the weight difference between the two? I tried looking online but could not find anything.

it doesn't matter they are cheap sturdy wheels

If anybody has a real answer I would appreciate it.

I have owned both and the dp18 are slightly heavier than deep vs I don't remember exact weight and the lp18s are slightly heavier than the alex r450

that is as good as it gets Why does weight eve matter on el cheapo wheels in the first place???

Cool okay thanks. I was just curious and wanted to get the lightest wheelset for the cheapest price (>$200).

then get and alex r450 rear and a cheap low spoke count road front wheel

We stock both and the DP18 is more stiff and rigid- but if you are after weight LP18 is very decent and strong.

hey I got all my weinmanns from you guys (wheel and sprocket)

I've had a pair of the LP18s with the formula hubs for a couple months now. They are light and fast and a great wheelset for the money.

The Weinmanns are good for the money but those Mavics are the real deal for same price.

DP18 is 680g
I don't think the LP18 is going to win any light weight records either.

680g is what? thats light for a fixed wheel.
