Sr
Can anyone tell me about the make/model of this bike:
SR Campus Sport I think it was a road bike before being converted to fixed gear, but haven't been able to find anything about "SR" bikes on the net. |
Hopefully not a Sun Rise...
|
it looked like a sun rise mountain bike was recalled... but this isn't one of those...
|
SR is stamped on components made by Sakae i think. I don't know if they made a bike. I don't know if it was a component grade or what. I'm just telling you where I've seen "SR" before. It may be the wrong tree. Hell, it may be the wrong forest. They are/were the second largest manufacturer of components behind Shimano.

so these are pictures of my "SR" fixie. Do they help jog anyone's memory about the make/model?

Is the tubing Tange#5 "champion?
|
I don't know about the SR but that is a handsome bike.

Was or is this on Ebay? Looks like the guy from San Diego who sell 10 or so fixie conversions a week. Frame looks great, good geometry, and parts look fine.

Sakae-Ringyo.

cool, thanks!
yup, got it on ebay a week ago or so. He had a number of bikes, 54-61 cm type ranges, applecart2 i think his user id is. Anyhow, he's been pretty helpful and swift about payment, packaging and shipping to chicago. |

[edited post kept to showcase irrelevance.] |
If it said "Fuji" would that help? I believe that it's basically the same thing, i think the same bikes were made in the same place and most likely in the same factory by the same people.
I could be wrong. |
