you can't be serious^
if you are, cool.
i just got ice cream at molly moon's with friends. soooo much better than getting molly moons at 2pm alone and feeling like a loser.

I know, I couldn't believe it either. I got a package addressed to Mickey Rourke from BCBG....nothing out of the ordinary, I get packages for celebs on occasion, but they usually go to a messenger center, or a company representing them. But this one went right to his loft. I took the elevator up and walked right in the door, thinking it was an office of some sort...but it was his apartment! He was sitting there watching tv, doing curls, with his dogs all around him. I caught him off guard. He called for his assistant (I guess), and when they didnt answer, he came and signed for the package himself. I tried not to be starstruck but I was very nervous. Thats why I didn't apologize for busting into his apt like I own the place...I felt bad about that for the rest of the day. The funny part was that he asked "alright, where do I sign" and I was so nervous that I just pointed to a box on my manifest that wasn't his (it was on the flip side). Said thank you and left....wanted to tell him I was a big fan but balked....He kind of looked at me after he signed, as if he was waiting for me to say something, but I just bounced. I was trying too hard to be cool. Regardless, it was pretty damn awesome!!! It was a pretty crazy week....I saw obama in his motorcade on monday and delivered to Mickey on Thursday!

2 part story. Yesterday I was riding to work on Market St. and a car cut me off with inches to spare. I came up to him at a stop light, knocked on the window and told him he should give people more room and not swerve in front of them when passing. The situation escalated from there and ended with him getting out of his car and throwing me to the ground as I rode by. I got up, got a quick kick into his side panel and it was done.
Today I'm riding to work a bit more cautiously and little do I know, he's waiting for me on a bike. He rides up next to me (I was completely oblivious) and out of the blue says "Hey man, I've gotta apologize about yesterday." I finally realize who is talking to me and immediately suspect that this is some ploy to kick my ass. I pull over, we get to talking, he's just a normal guy who was having a bad day. We both admitted to not diffusing the situation and ended up getting coffee.
I thought it showed a lot of balls for him to go out at 7:30am, not knowing if I'd even be riding by, to apologize. He manned up and I've got a ton of respect for that.

Coming home from a group project on my SS motobecane and bmx helmet, a fully kitted roadie pulls up next to me at a stop light, we exchange pleasantries and he stuck with me for the next half mile or so before I had to turn off.
He was a kind and witty guy. And if you're reading this, man with the Allez bike thank you for making my day!

not much to do at work so I went for a ride during lunch hour around central park. Nice weather.
(worst part: forgot to roll up my pants so my chain ate it and tear a hole )

Rode to the doctor's office and found out the sore on my ear was NOT cancer. Leaving his office meant bombing downhill for 2 miles. It sucked getting there but great leaving.

A fat, troll of a woman with a handicapped sticker on her oversized oldsmobile honked at me and screamed at me to ride on the sidewalk. I caught up to her at a traffic light and told her I would destroy her car with my u-lock if she didn't apologize.

Technically last two nights, but discovered a really cool old trail about 5 miles from my place that follows a small creek and appears to be an old road/path from way back in the day with stone bridges wide enough for a horse/buggy or single car/truck. I absolutely love exploring at night in the fall. Once the snow comes, a lot of the trails that I have been exploring/riding are for snowmobile use only.
Plus I started using my homemade 5w light (utilizing an old 6v water bottle battery) again, forgot how bright it is, puts my fancy LED headlamp to shame and cost $7 to build (minus the battery).

mellow ride around the city and across the golden gate bridge with the girlfriend. She's new to biking, but she's digging the new exploration that comes with riding a bike. Some 3 year old lil dude was liking my bike too. hopefully it fascinated him enough to one day start riding. i know i always looked up to the "older guys" when i was that age, and it inspired some life-long hobbies early on. yuppp

Took a beautiful night ride along the river to a meeting for the arts co-op that I direct in South Bend and got one of my close friends to jump on my geared bike and ride with me. Great to get a friend on a bike and show them a beautiful ride.
