Do you mean pedal strike or your hub getting stripped and you're brakeless?
pedal strike, hub stripping, lock ring stripping, handle bar stem breakage, chain breakage, bb spindle breakage, axel breakage, fork breakage, pedal/ toeclip/ strap breakage to name a few an ssfg is more simple with fewer factors but these factors have more gravity than in any other situation brakes or no any of those things above are enough to cause a spill that could result in serious injury |

Then why not make a FAQ for the FAQ? Or a TOC for the FAQ to the FAQ?

Flip flop hubs aren't necessarily fixed/free. They can be fixed/fixed or free/free. I'll also say that if someone has no idea what they're doing and ask question #2, they're probably better off at an LBS than the internet. That way we can afford the "My bike was just delivered is it too big/small for me?" threads.
