I was always wondering if you could just get a lockring tool for the ring and for the cog just thread it on your hub as tight as you can by hand then put the wheel onto your bike, have someone hold the wheel and you torque it by pedaling forward. then install lockring. sounds fine to me?

trixie doesn't offer much in the leverage department. it's hell to remove lockrings and cogs with it.

Damn, didnt realize the Trixie had the chainwhip feature. Thanks to whoever pointed it out.
I'll check one out later today.

And that Lockring tool is awesome. Some bike blog had one posted up, last month or something.

Hopefully that guy is willing to ship one out to CA.

I should start making those. Found 12" channel locks for $5... 2 minutes with the grinder then another 3-4 with the file and $20 profit!.
