Stolen fixed gear, London

****ing great. Had my bike nicked from Ashwin St, Dalston tonight, 2 locks broken through. Please please please keep an eye out for this as I've literally just finished building it, its my first bike and obviously lots of sentimental value. Any info or sightings please call me straight away. 07984 276096. I will reward whoever finds it as well.

Sixar frame, dark grey.
Wolber GTX rear wheel on Suzue hub.
Fizik saddle.
105 front brake
On One front hub on deep machined rim.

For your next build, make sure your seatpost is black.

Not helpful.

When I was in college I had a badass 20" Hoffman, when he first started making bikes. It was amazing, like a prototype or something I was able to acquire when I was wrenching at a shop in Tucson.

I left it ulocked one night outside my place, came out, an the bars and seat/post were gone. Went in to get my key to bring it inside, came back out, wheels and fork were gone. Then I went in to call the police, and when I came back out, the whole bike was missing.

So I filed a report, and 3 weeks later I was doing community service at the Tucson zoo and saw some effing punk cruising on my now *******ized 20". He was a 13 year old pre pubescent boy with his fishing pole. I caught him gave him the option to hand it over and walk away, but he kept insisting "he bought it in california", so I had him arrested.

At the end of the day, all the high end parts were sold and the kid replaced them with bull**** wall mart crap, and even then, the bike was returned to me frame only with a massive dent in the top tube from popping the u-lock. I then turned around and sold it for $300 to sucker I knew.

Just keep your head up dude, it'll probably turn up.

That sucks. Have you checked out Brick Lane yet?

BTW, exactly which locks were defeated?

Funny, I was just in London earlier this week. Unfortunately, I left the 20th, so it couldn't have been me.
