Not trying to pour Haterade all over anyone, but the "Post pics of your [blank]" might be getting a little out of hand. What's next? The "I want to see pics of your bikes that have purple & white splash Cinelli bar tape, 172.5mm cranks, and 80mm Nitto technomic stems, in the long version Superthread"?

I mean I'm not one of those obsessive "USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION RAAAAWWR!" type folks, but the specificity of this request strikes me as a lil' bit funny...

everything but my frame and rims are black, i did a quick photoshop that would give you a decent idea with black rims.

The tires have black in them? I know the crank is silver and I want a black crank, but I had those cranks already so I used them.

Grips and crank notwithstanding... (cranks will eventually be painted black, and the next set of grips will be black as well)

Carves an ugly little track in the paint, and until it does... It brakes really weird / bad.

what if the rims were powdercoated?

edit- or anodized- will the color wear off with anodized rims?

Been using a brake on my anodized front wheel and the paint is still black, and it stops great. You'll have a problem only with powdercoated rims. I'm not saying the pain wont eventually come off, but it won't be nearly as bad as powdercoated, in fact it will probably look like a machined rim eventually.

Those are all black deepvs. I don't use the brake very often, but a few times per ride. Been using them for several months now, and the paint is still good.
