Final price: 768.67 + 49 shipping = 817.67 to america.

Not a bad deal if you're looking.

calbrner 07-31-09 04:01 AM

if buying from the US does one have to pay tariffs?

dsh 07-31-09 07:41 AM

Yeah shouldn't international orders be exempt from the VAT? I forget how that whole deal works...

ZiP0082 07-31-09 08:56 AM

there's the added benefit of credit card numbers sometimes being stolen from PBK orders :)

artesc 07-31-09 09:33 AM

I lol'ed at the description...

"An ideal frame for track competition or building up a...commuter."

WTF?!? Oxymoron much?

Zachee 07-31-09 09:55 AM

I only use Cinelli TT frames for my commuters. It just makes the most sense.

+ $60 or so Fedex shipping bill.

grymg 07-31-09 11:05 AM

I think anything imported over $500 will be flagged, so most likely you'll have to pay a fee when you receive it into the states, so not a slick deal.

Wiggle online bike shop has a similar deal.

brendon_ak 07-31-09 03:59 PM

mark as gift

Cy Trivialities 07-31-09 04:04 PM

retailers usually don't mark as gift.

the surcharges probably won't be too much money anyway, like 30-40$

why would they do that for you?

deathhare 07-31-09 07:16 PM

I just cant get over how totally hideous these frames are.
Otherwise, Id love to pay $800+ for a Taiwan built Cinelli.

grymg 07-31-09 11:36 PM

it's illegal for them to mark it as a gift, a lot of sites from the UK specifically say that in their terms and conditions

wrong.

you'll get hit with a duty & tax invoice from fedex/ups/whoever a month or two after receiving the frame.

PedallingATX 08-01-09 12:09 PM

plus it clearly says that the free shipping does not apply to that item. So you have to pay shipping + whatever extra charges are incurred on account of the international shipping.

Overwhelming 08-01-09 12:56 PM

Did Captain America splooge all over it?

anomaly 08-01-09 01:30 PM

They were $650 when the euro was doing really rough.

PedallingATX 08-01-09 05:23 PM

anomaly-you mean the pound? PBK is from England, not the mainland.
