I just put a set of the Wellgo doubles on my bike. So far, so good. The fake leather is so real looking, I thought it was real. Hopefully they last, otherwise, I'll just put two single Paké space straps and use a homemade doubler. I love the space straps. So good!

Of course there is always the new choices like Hold Fast and Gurney straps.

Why aren't we talking about straps?
Does the fake leather hold up as well as the real thing? Do they slip?

The hold fast straps and those like it seem great for tricking and short rides, I would like to get a set and see how they feel.

I wonder if they could make straps out of bacon.

Coming from a vegetarian, there is little in this world that is as durable as real leather. Real leather normally cost more though, so there is a trade off. Also you have to kill an animal to get it, but I think we have established most of you guys do not care much.

I went wild boar hunting over the winter break and got a female and a male, they probably had kids who now don't have parents. But they got mounted and they are hanging in my room. But more on the meat subject I can make some mean bbq ribs from them and the loin is probably the best part of the animal. But in better news I popped both their hearts when I shot them so they didn't suffer. See I'm humane.

I'm not a big fan of ham. Bacon, however, is probably my favorite form of meat ever.:love:

I seriously can not believe whats going on in this thread. I asked a simple question about non-leather toe straps, get completely bashed and challenged because of my belief system, and when I try to defend myself I'm again demonized and labeled as a self righteous idiot. Where is the respect here? it would be one thing if I out right said "anyone who isn't a vegan is a dumb moron and i think they are stupid." All I did was ask a question!

Why is everyone so adverse to anything that isn't the norm, anything that isn't accepted by all of society? I'm getting harassed because of a life style choice I make. Seriously how old is everyone here? People are ranting about how much they love meat, just to make me feel like crap. Have I done anything to badger or hurt you?

I keep thinking about divorcing bike forums, but it's hard because I do get a lot of good information here and it's fun to share experiences as well.
