Did i hear this correctly (i sorted through 6 pages) ... there will be lugged kilo tt coming???1
if so, will it be a complete bike?
i need to know these things, before my head explodes!
also,
I really like the color you posted, the orange. i even like the stripes. i REALLY like the headtube only decal.
However, i wouldn't be opposed to a very classy, minimal white panel type downtube logo. (throw rocks at me now). the current branding is a bit over the top, which is why i'm looking at the stripper now.
I aslo was wondering about an all chrome fork?
keep up the good work, i'm likingn what i see, the urge to buy is getting stronger!

if you think the stock hubs dont suck, please take a gander at the kilo thread. i stripped mine real quick. my friend stripped his in a matter of weeks. i didnt notice it til i replaced the front wheel but the hub grinds like crazy when i spin the wheel.
dont get me wrong, at the 350 price point i wasnt expecting durable, and the hubs are the only thing i have to complain about so overall im pleased with the bike. it would be nice to not have had to replace the rear wheel so quickly tho.

I don't know that the kilo thread is a good indicator of hub quality. The bd kilo is a first fixed bike for quite a few folks. I wouldn't be surprised if user error led to plenty of stripped hubs on the kilo regardless of the particular hub make.

Can't wait to see these! Glad they're being offered as a frameset. There's a pretty high possibility I'll have to pick one up for myself and swap everything over from my KHS build.
White/Chrome would be amazing! Regardless of whether it's a bright white, pearl white, or even cream.

since i know youre going to read this, im going to ask this here instead of PM or other options.
can you bump it up to a 1 1/8 head tube, and maybe a 27.2 seat tube?
that would make parts a lot easier to find.
if not, id love to know why or what your reasoning is for not doing so, etc. (no sarcasm)

was shade of green ever determined for the green/chrome treatment?
and, what about a raw frame with chrome lugs? no chrome on the fork legs or stays, just the lugs?

think of a raw finish like this, with the kind of patina coming off the welds coming out from underneath chromed lugs. that would be righteous...

I think raw can look pretty good -- not my thing, but I get it. But I honestly think chrome lugs would kinda ruin the whole "raw" effect with too much bling. And this is from someone who loves both chrome and lugs.

Maybe. I guess I have a kind of steampunk visual running through my head. Classy, archaic, and industrial all in one fell swoop.
Maybe brass lugs. Can you do that for me BD?

if this comes as a frameset again 27.2 please. and have the fork long enough for us to choose to go threaded or threadless like currently? and go full chrome underneath the paint so riders can have more options? and lugs please
