IRO Angus. Made of better, lighter steel than the Pista and is cheaper.

anyone else?

and did you guys mean the IRO Mark V? they dont have angus

0hfrankieboy 08-11-09 11:03 PM

They're both entry level bikes I doubt you will feel much of a difference if any between the two I say go for the IRO save yourself the $100 and put it towards upgrades

or get a bikes direct bike and save a bit more.

IRO Mark V Pro, same 631 as the Angus, but threadless fork.

xwikdx 08-11-09 11:11 PM

nuh uh. I'm pretty sure Mark V is made w/ regular 4130 tubing. They both have the same geo, tho.

rogwilco 08-11-09 11:56 PM

I like the Charge bikes on that list, but they are more expensive than both the IRO and the Bianchi.

Cy Trivialities 08-11-09 11:56 PM

the site says the Mark V Pro has 631, as opposed to the 4130 on the regular Mark V.

So it's essentially a threadless Angus. Unless of course they marked it wrong on the site.

stick with your bmx

Fugazi Dave 08-12-09 03:10 AM

I'd go with that one.

*gestures*

wow, no .

CY--I skipped over the part where you wrote "PRO" I was just talking about regular Mark V...you're right

Anyways, OP, you can't go wrong w/ an IRO. Steamrollers are also cool bikes. Personally, I'm in love w/ my Jamis Sputnik but it might be more than you're looking to spend.
