I'm interested in these as well. I saw them at the lbs a while back. The adjustable insole system had me a little baffled, but since they didn't have my size and the folks at the shop had no apparent interest in selling me anything, I didn't spend time trying to figure it out. But if anyone has tried this shoe, I'd be interested to hear their experience, esp now that my current shoes are almost shot.

Then again i don't really care

The soles look ugly. I'll stick with my beat up chucks and vans.

I got some of the brown Kursk shoes and have been riding with them for a few weeks, now (30 mi, round trip to work, 3 days/week).

I dig them.

PROS:

They are not cotton, but are the type of thick nylon that bags/packs are made of (seem like the uppers will last forever).

The sole is definitely a bit stiffer where the shoe sits on the pedal (WAY stiffer than Vans Era's in my opinion). This is the main reason I bought them.

The metal tips on the laces make it super easy to tuck the laces into the shoe or into the other laces or into the little elastic thing on the tongue.

CONS:

They run narrow and don't seem like they are going to stretch as easy as Vans or Converse, being nylon and all.

I don't love the looks of them, but alot of other people sure do.
