Too bad that case was proven to be a lie on the strippers and a lack of information from Nifong. Not to mention Nifong, the DA of Durham County (prosecutor), lost his job because of his actions in the case.
I don't go to Duke nor do I care for Duke, but it's really irritating how they are more than misrepresented, even after it was proven wrong. Perhaps I'm reading you wrong, and if I am, this thread is still pointless.

Congratulations on bringing up a case from 3 years ago that was based on lies, class stereotypes, and unethical behavior on the part of an overzealous DA.

actually that was pretty funny. people need to lighten up.
i was up there in NC when that was going down. it was actually very funny for some anti-duke people in that area. i'm not a fan of duke, over-privaleged people, strippers or attorneys. i do like lacrosse though. interesting sport.
why do people still make fun of OJ Simpson and Lorena Bobbitt and Tonya Harding and Michael Jackson's molestations? because off color humor is funny.
my 2 cents.

It's not a funny joke. The original story itself was funnier than this hack's best effort.
I didn't lol.

it's monday and i'm too tired to think about this any longer, so i will conceed your point, agree to it's stupidity, admit my stupidity for thinking it was humorous, and agree to never laugh at other people's jokes again, regardless of the freshness of the material. i guess that life's too real to laugh at things like that.
so i offer my apologies. sheesh.
seriously? i'll assume you are being sarcastic, or are under 20. either way, who cares, that was a long time ago.
