Nice, I did that last year. (Didn't need a bungee though).

Here is how it is now:

I have that same Peugeot!! Though mine is red now since I stripped and painted it. It's just waiting for a clear coat.

Actually, there is another guy here who has one that is exactly the same (but with gears and stock parts and such). But it has a carbolite fork instead of the Reynolds 501 fork. I am sad that the clearcoat is degrading and it accumulates chips and such from parking around campus. I kind of want to repaint it and have someone make some vinyls to replicate the original.

I bought mine almost fully functional and stripped it down to bare metal. I have the whole box of parts, about ten lbs of stuff that I took off, just in case I need the brakes or shifters or whatever later.

Edit: And I got mine for $20

I have a locked bike room in the dorm beside me which works well. Parking outside one night last year got one of my grips stolen. Drunk kids seem to be the only people who want to mess with bikes.

Long time since I've been in college, but I had an easy solution: Bikes stayed in my dorm room and I slept at my girlfriend's place.

I use over-the-door hooks in my apartment. I hang my bike by the front wheel using two of em side by side. those things can really support the weight.

When I stayed in a dorm, I slept with the bike right next to my bed. Sometimes I'd wake up with my hand on the handlebar, lol.

my bike sits on the window still
no pics to show though :/ and my extra frame sits on top of the shelving unit on my desk

I'm in an apartment, but same difference...

Mine uses the radiator similar to a bike rack. Two 3M Command hooks hold it up there, works fantastic, because you need to keep those things pretty open anyway.

My and my roomate trashed our kitchen table so we would have room for our bikes.

Just moved into my new house and we don't have a garage. Here's my setup. I made a bike rack for my other garage, but since I don't have one now, the bike rack goes in my room :)
