Short, rear-facing dropouts. Convertible?

Short, rear-facing dropouts. Convertible?

A have a nice Klein road frame that I'd like to convert to SS. I don't want to use a tensioner, of course. It has short, rear-facing dropouts. Is there anything that would make this work, besides an ENO? I've seen the slider-type dropouts on mt. bikes and wonder if something like that could be mounted in my dropouts.

Thanks.

pictures would be a great help here.

Canned response would invovle mention of halk-links, magic ratios, the eno hub, and strange possibilities taken from Sheldon Brown's website.

just get some half links and find the magic ratio from sheldon's site.

if that doesn't work, go with the eno hub.

Convertible? Yes.

There's not a whole lot else we can tell you without pictures.

If one half-link doesn't make it work, more aren't going to change that.

Just sayin'...
