What pedals/clips/shoes are you riding right now?

Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Just curious what everyone is riding out there when it comes to pedals, toe clips, and shoes. Right now I'm using GR-9 pedals, MKS steel toe clips with leather straps, and some Nike Tiempo indoor soccer shoes or Vans Half Cab Pro (double thick insole). Feel free to share if ya want.

Sidi Bullet 2s with Time ATAC ALIUM pedals. Was using SPD M520s previously but the spring returned float was giving me sore knees

When I was running clips and straps I really enjoyed my set of PF Flyer shoes with MKS Sylvan track pedals. I only used ****ty nylon straps so it's no surprise I never fell in love with toe clips

I love em. I get more torque and a better feel out of the steel clips. The pedals were highly recommended by a lot of people here on the forum, so I ordered them to try them out and they're amazing. I was running nylon straps for a bit, but I switched up to the leather and it just made the setup feel a lot more solid. Definitely recommend it!

specialized sequoia pedals, mks clips, mks fit alpha doubles. shoes are those ****ty van slip ons or some puma suedes.

for clipless i have pearl izumi vipers (or something, mountain shoes with the boa system) and some cheap wellgo spd-style mountain pedals. actually, I converted an old pair of pumas to clipless using a pair of used shimano shoes i got from the bike co-op.

When I'm not riding clipless.
BMX pedals are where it's at. A platform that actually supports and covers the entire width of my shoe/foot. Hate away, but they are so much more comfy than MKS steez that always give me hotspots at the end of a ride.

Camagnolo Record pedals from the late 70's that are dead on for MKS Slyvan Road pedals but with amazing bearing, mks clips, yada yada. Thinking about double straps/quad gate clips.

My road bike has some mid-level Shimano SPD-SL pedals and Bontrager Inform shoes. I love clipless so much.

I wear men's 8-8.5 (European 41) and find a "medium" clip works best. A small is ok in a pinch. Don't bother with a large.

Twisted PC's BMX pedals (yes they are very very comfortable) and Hold Fast straps (yes, they work fine when you skid!) Would only go back to clips/straps for a classic look track bike. Size 10.5 Half Cab Vans but looking for something with more support. Even with Superfeet insoles they suck.
