Not sure if it's what you're into but I'm really digging the EighthInch classic track drops and plan on getting some soon.

road or track drops? I use Nitto b115 road drops they're good.

Pretty much you can buy any drops with 80 bucks. But if you wanna go carbon or use really rare bars, you might need to throw in few hundred.

I got the latest one (Nitto Univ 105) for 20-30 bucks. I know people swears by B177 noodles. I have never "fondle" one. ... I need to FEEL one!

A dude I work with just got his white ones and while they do look cool in pics, they're even better in person. They feel nice & solid too.

(Did I mention they're only 29 bucks??? :D)

The new eighthinch drops looks interesting. I would like to hear what people have to say about them, maybe with some pictures as well. very very shallow, especially compared to my old b123's at least (real track drops arent supposed to be shallow, but these look good for the street)

good to hear, i run a front brake as well. looked horrible with the b123's though, couldnt bring myself to do it. hopefully will look decent on these.

I'm hoping the cuteness of my lever goes well with the petite nature of the bars.

track drops, in my opinion, are awful for all applications other than riding in the drops... on the track. They are NOT meant to be ridden on the tops (as rode drops are), so i hope they are for the track. I much prefer horns or risers for around town/commuting , they are just much more practical (though i think track drops look great on a track bike!)

I think the thing here is that theyre not really track drops by definition. Track drops are supposed to be deep, for sprinting on a track. Look at the pics of these in 1/8's photo gallery. very shallow, and an usual design for a drop. interesting to say the least, id like to hear more about them. maybe too curved to be comfortable on top? who knows.

The EighthInch track drops are a very slight 15mm drop. They're really comfortable, either on the drops of up top. My buddy has a front brake with a Soma Urban cross lever (24mm clamp) mounted just to the outside of the bulge and it looks/works beautifully.

Deda Pistas. You can find used dedas for easily 40 bucks on ebay. It's also very stiff, and it's black so there's that much cool factor.

Selecting drop bars can be so challenging as you have to match the bars to the bike and rider and small changes in shape and drop can have a really pronounced effect.

I have never liked traditional track drops on anything but the track... I have some ITC and Soma Major Taylors that are shallower and with drop levers they are really very nice.

I think those eighthinch bars look terribly uncomfortable on the tops... especially if running a brake (and a light at night) Look like a more shallow Major Taylor bar, which I have and they sit on the shelf unless heading off to the match sprints or velodrome.

I roll with Nitto B125 shallow drops or Nitto B259AA uncut risers in the city.
