I didn't see too many bad comments on this thread, but I guess because everybody didn't post "ROFL you're so funny, I want you to be my best friend!" we are uptight idiots?
It would probably be as funny as telling you how I took the emblems off your original '53 to make refriedgerator magnets. Don't worry, they were almost falling off after I took the screwdriver too them and I tried not to scratch the paint!
When you've ridden a bike extensively it is no different a relationship than with somebody who has spent time (restoring, racing, something more than a dozen weekend rides a year and driving it to work doesn't count).

tSo should we embrace people as heroes b/c they think it's funny to take something from other people? You're totally right Understanding.
DAMN YOU PEOPLE FOR BEING EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED TO SOMETHING YOU SPEND HUNDREDS OF HOURS A YEAR USING, MAINTAINING, AND TALKING ABOUT.
Seriously though, what is this high horse? The worst comment I saw was somebody saying the hoped the OP got flat tires.
If people didn't "GET" the joke, it's not a problem with the audience.
