I found this sweet Fuji, looked abandoned

Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I found this sweet Fuji, looked abandoned

So I was just chillin around town yesterday and there was this sweet fairly new Fuji that was without home, apparently its owner had abandoned it It even came with a U lock that was just hanging there not attached to anything. Someone else must have been scoping it out already because as I started to ride off he started to chase me, but he didn't realize that I was wearing my silver streak helmet. No man can catch me when I'm wearing my silver streak helmet. Besides, finders keepers. Anyway here's my new bike, what do you guise think?

How'd you get the u-lock off for the picture?

And obviously finders keepers is 9/10ths of the law.

Side note: I've always ben a fan of the downtube "Fuji", but I think the "Track" in script letters is dumb looking.

So the u-lock didn't indicate that it was someone elses bike to you? Interesting.

I don't get it either. I assume this is a joke seeing as how you obviously took that picture of my (stolen) bike from my thread. Do you think this is funny?

If, for some reason, you are actually the person who took my bike, email me at ds32711@gmail.com and I will buy it back from you for like $100 or something reasonable. You're not going to be able to sell it on Craigslist and good luck getting more than that at a flea market.

By the way, I don't think this is seriously the guy who took my bike because while he did look somewhat like a biker, he was not comfortable with the fixed gear, so I doubt he would be in this forum.

As I saw him riding away (before he saw me) he was trying unsuccessfully to get his feet into the toe clips.

Way to waste his time when he could actually be trying to find his bike.
