single/fixed dropouts

Hi,

I have an old bike I want to convert to singlespeed/fixed gear as a commuter for work, but dont know if it is suitable.

I have photographed the rear dropouts, will I be able to safely convert it?

They look a little short, but probably fine with a half link or a little luck on chainring/cog sizes.

Should be fine. Worst case scenerio you may need a 1/2 link in your chain but nothing about using those dropouts would be dangerous.

You need to be able to adjust your rear axle forward or rearward 1/2". That's not a whole lot.
