Globe Roll - Opinions?

What's your take on the Globe Roll? FG bike made by Specialized's Globe Bikes subsidiary.

A local store had one the other day, and it looks like a decent bike. That seat is solid plastic, though.

Looks too much like a bunch of other trendy frames for me to feel much either which way on it. I'm sure it's a fine enough bike and would work great for whoever is riding it, it just strikes me as boring

Its a poor man's version of the Pashley Guvnor. Specialized just had to cash in on the path racer craze with its own model!

Those bars and saddle can't be very comfortable.

I am thinking of getting a Tarck bike, (as opposed to a Track bike $1500 and up), anyway down to this or Felt Brougham. Does anyone know if this has a threadless Headset? The pics on the site (globebikes.com) show it threadless, but the specs (on the same site) say Threaded. I think the Felt has a little better Geometry as well, 55mm BB drop and 170 crankarms, the Globe has 175 arms in the XL size and 67.5 BB drop (you gotta wonder if anyone at specialized ever rode it fixed around a corner!) Anyway... I think it looks better than the Felt's mismatched wheels and tires. One last thing - anyone know if the 2010 Cannondale Capo is still made in Bedford? Or is that an overseas bike as well? Thanks

its a threadless stem/straightbar in one.

incycle in pasadena, ca had a few out and they look pretty decent in person esp the green/white. the grips feel like ourys and yes the seat is plastic and vented. wanted to take it for a spin but i felt like the employees would've scoffed at me "damn another fixy kid". i asked a simple question about the top tube brake cable clamps and the guy was like "*scoff* they're kinda gimmicky!" the whole damn bike is gimmicky. its like i didnt even want his opinion, just asked if they sold them. sheesh.

It's not even close to the Pashley... The Guv'nor is a pretty bike, elegant, and classic.

That Globe is just fugly.
