i think you could fit 35s in the back of some kilos.

Yo! 10-08-09 08:08 AM

Why don't they include a seatpost bolt?

Dannihilator 10-08-09 08:41 PM

This is definitely going to be my next project.

hmm interesting. this bike looks sweet, but upon further inspection of the lugs i noticed the same exact lugs appear on the 'higher end' Sparton Frame USA track bike (its the ST 800):http://www.spartonframeusa.com/.
i think i remember watching a youtube video from Sparton saying the lugs were designed by Terraferma. video of the sparton can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqBsf...e=channel_page

I'm really liking the looks of this 'Lincoln Poacher', but the possible connection with Sparton makes me question what the deal is.

RoboIsGod 10-08-09 10:47 PM

oh and this bike would be perfect if it wasn't for the double waterbottle holder bosses

cc700 10-09-09 12:31 AM

i like bottle bosses.

a lot of lugs are mass produced or made in runs and then individual frame makers use the lugs... it could be that sparton and on one are getting the lugs from the same people but making different bikes from them.

regardless it looks very nice. i think i would rather have a different bike especially built up with h bars and whatnot... but cool.

RoboIsGod 10-09-09 01:12 AM

so this should have nothing to do with Sparton... Good.

beeftech 10-09-09 01:19 AM

Yeah lugs are mass produced, independent builders just pick and choose, or cut out their own designs from a generic set.
You can buy that exact lugset here, if you so desire.

RoboIsGod 10-09-09 11:44 AM

i'm starting to really like this. wish it included a picture of the fork.

I approve.

Thanks! now you got me thinking about these handlebars.

bones_mcbones 10-09-09 02:19 PM

how much are you thinking about spending on the whole project?
