For durability go with the eyeletted rims. Those are gonna be burly.

open pros are pretty nice, IMO...light, stiff, and durable. What makes you want the suzue hub? Have you thought about putting a road, QR hub up front? Someone suggested that to me for my wheel build and I think it will cut down weight. cxp33 is a pretty solid rim, too. DT Revolution spokes, I assume?

the suzue hubs are pretty good I've had my build going on a year and haven't had to true front or rear wheel. the front is a cxp33 to suzue and rear is a h+son to suzue.
the hubs were butter smooth on build day and front hub is still just as smooth. rear i have had some problems with it loosening on me but its and easy fix. and has only happened twice really. i think its from all my power output really.

Biffle--I should also add something about my previous suggestion. There is one major problem I encountered w/ wanting to run a front road hub and a rear track hub: you will have 2 different spoke length. My friend at the LBS who is doing the wheel build told me he would have to buy a whole nother box of spokes for like 60 bucks...
Anyone know a way around this?

buy a box of the longer size and cut them down for the front wheel. surely your LBS has a spoke cutter on hand? it'll likely cost you a tad extra for the time.

I can go to any of 4 shops on my way home and buy single spokes between 80 cents and 2 bucks each depending on what I need.
