bicycle wheel warehouse cog/lockring

anyone know what brand cog/lockring are sold with bicycle wheel warehouse's fixed gear wheelsets?

Nothing worthwhile, I would say. The cogs are stamped, and a little uneven. The lockring, nothing wrong with it, just a plain steel lockring. As far as branding, there isn't one, so I would just say 'Generic'.

hmm, thanks for the info... so pretty much a throw-away cog? not even on par with a surly?

I suppose it depends on the wheelset, really. I got the lowest of the lowest (89 dollar wheelset -- Venus something.. Formula hubs). The cog itself will work, and do it's job, it's not prone to failure, it's just not very high quality. So if it's the only thing you've got, you're better off riding with it than nothing at all. That being said, if you can afford a nicer cog (like the Surly), I'd go with that option.
