Measuring stems and steering tubes
I bought this stem to replace my original KiloTT stem.
I measured the steering tube and found it to be 1". I googled a millimeters calculator and found that it converts to 25.4mm. I went ahead and purchased this stem HERE in 90mm X 25.4mm clamp. All of the packaging received shows the right size; however, when I received it the clamp measures at 1 1/8" and it's clearly too big.
Am I converting the measurements wrong?

No, you're looking at the wrong ones.
Threadless stems can be somewhat confusing, since they use two clamps; one for the steerer tube, which is vertical, and one for the handlebars, which is horizontal. The 25.4 clamp on that stem refers to the handlebar clamp. Virtually all modern stems are 1 1/8".
I don't know much about Kilos, but it seems that they have a 1 inch steerer tube. You either need a new, 1 inch stem, or a set of shims.
