Black Omniums in 170mm

Are on ebay right now with BB and free shipping... I had a lot of interest when I was going to sell mine, so thought I would pass this along.

https://tinyurl.com/yavjmg9

They're not mine BTW - my ebay name is nextmap.

That's really not that bad of a price considering they're damn near impossible to get. Especially new. Someone mentioned that not even Felt employees can get their hands on them.

i asked him if he would trade me for my silver 75s w/ BB. It's worth a shot. I've been trying to get my hands on some nice, black cranks otherwise these silver 75s are gonna get spray painted

if you knew how much they cost direct from SRAM i think you'd realize how ludicrous paying that much is.

They're $XXX.XX on Quality, so I'm guessing they're slightly cheaper to Felt or others who use them as OEM cranks.

Value is an interesting concept...

Edit: QBP price deleted.

silver ones are $165 shipped w/ BB from bikeisland. I would have a hard time paying over $100 more just for black ones...

You guys don't realize that blacks are not availble anywhere not even through dealers. There only availible on oem bikes like felts. I'd pay that much if I was really shooting for looks or anesthesics. There the same sure but the color can be a deal for someone

i understand they are rare. Being rare doesn't make them any better than the silver ones. I refuse to support an unreasonably inflated price just b/c something's rare. Hype is a fool's game.

I don't think imperfect information is to blame. I'm not sure anyone believes that the black omniums will up their cadence by +8 over the silver ones. They just have the unfortunate combination of looking great and being rare.

those black miche cranks are hot.

As for the omniums, if they were the same price as the silver ones or maybe like $20 more, I would buy them in a hearbeat. But for the price that guy is selling them for, forget it.

By the way, when I offered him the trade he responded by saying he didn't wanna trade but that he would sell them to me for $240 shipped...

He is accepting offers, so it's clear that he'll take less than $289. I had a pair of black Omniums on my Jamis Sonik, and they look really slick in person. When I sold my Sonik, I tried to keep the cranks, but the buyer said he'd only buy it if the cranks came with it.

I got mine brand new for $200 shipped with BB. Only reason I was able to get a pair in black was because they were in 172.5mm (which was good for me since my legs are kinda long) and not a lot of fixed gear folk can appreciate the extra leverage when riding in the streets
