Aerospoke Front?

Well, ive untrued my front velocity deep v flying off curbs during deliveries. Are the aerospokes wheels strong enough aka stronger than my dheep v. I got a B43 for the rear but I perfer a front brake in case of emergencies due to all of the stupid drivers around my little city so a B43 front is out of the question for me. I refuse to take a brake to one. :thumb: sooooo aerospoke? I just dont want to start truing a deepv and get it even weaker....

You can true a wheel without making it weaker, if the hoop isn't already damaged in any way.

Is your front DeepV radial laced or 3x? Is it 32h?

I've never used an aerospoke, so I can't speak on it's strength.

Deja vu... did you not get the answer you wanted last time?

Please don't get an aerospoke, for the love of Purdue don't, I don't want to see a million aerospokes next year since the major "fixie" boom hit this year

Just ride smart and don't go off curbs

Hey op how did you get your bike back?

Properly truing a Deep V wheel won't make it weaker. The fact is, nowadays you can get a wheel that is stronger than an aerospoke and lighter for much cheaper. However, if the look of the aerospoke appeals to you then it is hard to beat. I personally LOVE the look of them and that's why I have one. It's as simple as that.

from what ive heard aerospokes are strong as ****, heavy as ****, and aero as ****. by the first two, i mean that it's really strong and really heavy, but by the third, i mean it is literally about as aerodynamic as a piece of ****. take that as you will..................

I used to ride an Aerospoke wheelset. Yes, they look cool. They are also strong as well, but I didn't use them for tricking. I really would like to get another set just to look cool, but besides that, they offer no advantages. They are really heavy, but I didn't mind since I thought of them as "training". Did I mention they look cool? I think they look cool :)

I agree!!!!! They look awesome! Seeing your bike made me want them. I have a set on my Concept.
