I'm 49, have been a serious cyclist for 10 yrs; got my first fixie a bit over a year ago.
I can't remember but I was born in Oct 69 do the math :)
My first track bike at 17 yrs old. After a few years I took a 10 year break for various reasons. Never did forget the fixt bike though and finally now that I have a fairly steady job for the first time in my life I have another on to ride. |
25 here
I'm 26 as of yesterday. I feel old today.
33 and I rode the BMX for about 16 years and then started with the fixed gear. It's been about 6 years or so.
66yrs. old. Started riding fixed about a year ago. I usually choose fixed for most rides under 45-50 miles, but I did a century last September just to see what it would be like.
Other than having a tough time going down the Niagara escarpment, it was a great ride. |
33... bday vomit coming soon to a toilet near you.
35 3 bikes, no car, and a neurotic cat.
26 - I sometimes blank out when people ask my age, this started happening past 23. I told someone I was 24 a month or so ago, it was the first thing that came to mind for some odd reason. The mid-twenties - a blur!

yes, us "30-plus'rs" seem to fit well here
45 years, riding fixed for about 6 weeks now. Fixed for weekday commutes, and roadie on the weekends.
I'm 31 and I've been fixed for about 11 or 12 years.
33, but my wife insists that i'm 15...so i guess that makes me 19 (on average).
been riding fixed for a while, more than 5 years. |

Interesting that the group sounds older than one would think. Either that or the youngins have a life and don't have time to post... |

I am now 58...cycling for over 30 years..once rode my friend's track bike at a So Cal velodrome..realized I would most likely find myself on my ass many times if I kept doing this...haven't regretted the decision. I also pretty much failed horseback riding, though at the time I was in a situation where I had to do it for about a year. Fell on my ass a lot. |
well, thank god they don't allow horses in the velodrome
But I thought he was riding an ass not a horse...
27 - i ride both a fixed gear track and a "regular" road bike.
