Portland OR powder coating/liquid question

1 Attachment(s)
Hi! This Surly here, is this powder or liquid coating? I have a feeling it's liquid but I've heard liquid is more prone to chipping and peeling.

Is there any way powder coating can have a liquid, glossy look?

Any good recommendations for painters in the Portland OR area?

Thanks!!!!

I believe powder coating is more durable than liquid coating, simply because I've read that liquid is more prone to chipping, much like you've read.

I don't live in OR, so sadly I can't recommend any painters :/

I had 2 bikes powdered at Brooker Enterprises

$100 for frame and fork

They did an awesome job

Heard good things about Class Act as well.

Powder coat.... more glossy through application of clear coat of polyurethane.... perhaps extra shininess of paint job through waxing and buffing....

~Anyone know a good place for a powdercoating in the bay area?
