I don't mean to flame the owner (to each his own and all that), but I just don't get this:

It's set up as a short hop, to-whole-foods-and-back, bike-polo-and-then-starbucks bike. Risers+massive downtube = a lot of discomfort after 10 miles of riding.

Clearly this frame is designed strictly for track, but I have yet to see one set up as a proper track bike, with track drops, track cranks, etc. Can anyone who is actually using this frame as it was intended (for track) post some pics? Or at least, if you have this frame and use it for around town or street use, are you happy with it or are you thinking of flipping it for a more practical frameset?

Those things are hideous and cheap. Maybe thats why.
There are tons of us who ride frames made for the track on the street.
Have you been asleep?

You can get those frames for about 250 bucks. Whats the difference
between doing that to one of those over a Langster or any other cheapo frame?

Track bikes are ridden on the street, at least here in Echo Park. The closest velodrome is 25 miles away!

This bike doesn't look any different that 95% of the bikes I see posted here. The frame makes for a good, cheap race bike (light and stiff).
