Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Experiences with CLEMENT FUTURA Kevlar tubular tires

Need some durable tubulars for occasional street use. No more than 23mm.
Preferably under $55 for the pair.

I ran the yellowjersey 3 for $50 deal with sealant. You really need 3 tires if you run tubulars, unless you use a cell phone as a spare. After you ride through your first rear, you can use it as a dirty spare, and pop on a fresh tire. They are decent quality--- better than most cheapo tubulars at twice the price.
