Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Estimates on value needed

Ok, I'm finally going to clear out some of my excess stuff and sell it on E-Bay. I need a ball park figure as to it's worth. What is your best estimates as to what I should expect to get? High -Low. What should I set as the Minimum for buy now price. Thanks for helping. I have only bought new and never bought anything on e-bay so I need all the help I can get. Here in random order are some of the items.

Phil Wood fixed/fixed hubs, 126mm spacing,W/ lock rings, front and rear, laced to 700 cc Mavic MA-3 silver 36 hole rims, 13/15/14 DT "Mountain" Spokes, cloth rim tape.

Suzue NJS Type fixed/fixed,120mm spacing,W/ lock rings, front and rear, 32 hole laced to 700 cc Mavic Open Pro silver rims DT 14/15 spokes, cloth rim tape.

2ea. 700 cc Mavic Open Pro 32 hole rims. Blue Annodized color.

I have a lot of rear cogs and 130 bcd chainrings of various sizes. To many to list but I need an idea what to ask for them generally.

Brooks Saddles: 1 ea. Swallow, honey brown color, that is broken in and in great shape.
1 ea Swift Titainium railled, British Racing Green color, New in Box.

Also a bunch of Road brake calipers and levers of various vintages. Nothing collectable just good users.

I will see how this first trial goes with e-bay. If it is anything less than a hassle I will go ahead and get rid of a lot more stuff that I don't need anymore or is duplicated by other stuff I own and use. I gotta clean out the parts box or buy a bigger house. Is there a rule of thumb as to pricing for imediate sale. 1/2 of retail or more or less?
Thanks for the input.

I might be interested in some of your chain rings and cogs. I'm looking for a 46 or 44 tooth, anything? Feel free to PM me or email me at cbdougher@yahoo.com
