Quality of higher end Leader frames?

Thanks for the correcting the title Danni!

~~~
Researching throughout SS&FG subforum and using the search feature I've seen quite a few posts criticizing the quality of Leader's frames....
But there weren't any about the new 2009 735 TR with all its modifications (the version with lobster claw like track ends);
I was just wondering if you any of you guys know anything about its quality either personal or from buddies with it....
Also, how is the quality of Leader frames these days? Especially for the higher end models?
I'm really considering this frame with my tax refund...
The new steel models are pretty badass in build
As far as the alluminum models go I've owned the 735tr. It was so so ,not to heavy,welds were pretty clean but was a little loud since it has fat tubes. It wasn't stiff enough for me as I could feel a little flex in the chainstay when I was in a out of saddle sprint.
If I were to go leader again I'd def get a steel frame from them. My new alluminum ride a 2009 FTP is pretty much all I need for track
I've heard some good things about the new leader steel frames but i dun have personal experiences with them tho. I saw one rolled by the other day and it looks nice too.
Darn it.... unfortunately I haven't heard found anything new about for soda can ones..... all the guys around here have the older version which I hear a plagued by cracking especially at the seatpost part... I hope leader fixed that flaw in the revision....
i have an 09 735tr and i like it a lot. the welds look great, its light, the dropouts are super beefy, the paint scratches pretty easily but its not that big of a deal to me. and like mentioned above, it translates quite a bit of noise but i mean, c'mon... its a bike, not a mercedes. for the price i couldnt be happier.
