Is this overpaying?
65 bucks for a set of nitto b259aa risers
70 bucks for a used san marco regal (girardi) saddle? It's got a few scratches on the back and blemishes on the rivets. 37 bucks for an eai cog 17t and 25 bucks for a pair of champs grips I'm not planning on buying all these parts from one seller. If anybody else wants to know if they're overpaying, ask away and hopefully I (or anybody else) can help. |
$70 for a beat-up Regal is dumb. Here's a brand new one for $67.
|
Yes. Those prices are rediculous for used.

knock off? I am offering you an alternative to your 70 dollar saddle. They are seemingly identical thus the alternative offer. Next time you ask for advice or help don't be such a dick.

How much does that saddle (new) usually run for? The smooth black one.
http://www.google.com/products?clien...l=en&scoring=p http://www.petracycles.co.uk/product...ource=googleus They go for around 70. Next time try to avoid forum clutter and try to find answers on the web first. |

I dont get these kind of questions. In the time it took for you to start tis thread and ask these questions you could have done a simple google search and found all of the prices.

If anybody else wants to know if they're overpaying, ask away and hopefully I (or anybody else) can help. also you can find All-City grips for like 5-6$, for me personally grips make zero difference. you can find basically everything you are buying for a lot less by different brands, like these handlebars: http://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...er+Bar+09.aspx yea they weight 35GRAMS more (not that you'd notice) but cost 15$ vs 65$ IMO everything on sites like "Ben's cycles" is trendy for the fixed gear kids everywhere so they never have good sales. If you want to save a **** load of money look around @ the some parts made by brands that aren't overhyped. |

if you haven't noticed, most of the questions asked on this found can be answered through google search, but we ask because we need a second opinion which can't be found thu "a simple google search". Just because total cycling sells San Marco saddles for 70 doesn't answer my original question.

You should be able to get an EAI cog for $30. I'm looking at a bunch on eBay right now. I remember buying a couple of EAI cogs off eBay a few years back, for even less than that.
