I have a chance to get a set of these from a guy I work with for $50. The hubs are drilled for disc brakes. I'm thinking I flip the rear wheel add a drilled track cog and ride the front with a disc brake.

Does anyone have any history with this method? Using a drilled cog on a hub drilled for disc brakes?

Here's a link to a picture and some reviews of the set.

wheels are the wrong size

rear hub is 15mm too wide.

you could maybe use the front wheel in the back if you respace the hub, i think the narrower hub shell will give a better chainline

I meant the wheelset is a 26" rim mountain bike wheelset. Dont waste your money. I did that once and now have a $50 wheelset sitting in the corner collecting dust and taking up space. Just save up and buy a good wheelset that actually fits your bike.
