Half Link Chains
Do any of you use half link chains? If so what do you think of them compared to regular chains? What have you heard, what do you know?

I use them on my BMX/Dirt Jumpers, they're totally unnecessary on a track bike unless you need the half-link to really slam that back wheel or you're grinding etc.
I used Shadow Consipracy V2 and that thing constantly had to be adjusted. People talk ab half links "stretching" out, and it's true in my experience. Even w tensioners that chain would slack after every 50-60 miles. |

half link chains are good if you are concerned about hitting your chain... that's where they tend to be more durable and are good for BMX/Trials/etc. they won't really give you any benefit on a track bike unless you think you are doing tricks that are going to result in hitting your chain.
and they are heavy. |
