replace handlebars/stem on globe roll
I recently picked up a globe roll and am looking for suggestions on replacing the stem/handlebars. I am looking for something a little more upright and plan on getting riser bars. My options are getting a quill stem or a threaded to threadless adapter. Anyone have suggestions on which direction to go?

Quill stems are height adjustable, you may not need to replace it at all to get your bars up.
Just make sure you don't raise the stem past min. insertion mark. |
Don't you need a threadless stem and a new handlebar?

If I want to use a threadless stem I would need to get an adapter since the fork is 1" threaded. I'm starting to lean towards going that direction since threadless stems seem easier to find than quill stems. If anyone has any suggestions on threadless stems let me know. I was thinking about getting a profile design or Dimension quill stem adapter. I will also be getting some riser bars to replace the handlebars.

if you stick with threaded you can get one of these kalloy stems for dirt cheap from ride-this. they have them in black too. as well as different lengths.

@meatrat1@yahoo. The link isn't working. Could someone help me out? I'm not sure where to start from. I want to replace the handlebars to a pursuit bar.
