Another reason to like my new lock.

Bought a kryptonite combo lock, 4"x8", 2 lbs. Been keeping it in the top of my bike bag. Today on my way back from breakfast some guy buzzbombed me and honked his horn. Not being incredibly bright but being a little angry I flipped him off. Sure enough he did the spin around the block and came back. By the time he got back i was waiting on the sidewalk with my 2 lb u-lock in my hand. Prolly a good thing as this was a big biscuit eating boy we had here. But after yelling insults and calling me a ***** and all those other wonderful things he left me and my new u-lock alone on the sidewalk and went home to kick his dog and screw his sisterwife.

Money well invested i say.

thats something I will never understand. Angry drivers will go and honk, scream, yell and even try and push you off the road with their cars, but EVERY time I have given them the finger, they need to stop and try and challenge me. Its really the main reason I ride with my Ulock tucked in the back of my pants... easy access for defense.

I wonder if there is any way to make a Ulock look more menacing... like welding spikes onto it... maybe little chainsaws the come off the sides.... or not.

Heh two things. Duffle Bag and CWP As long as you don't freak out the lil' ol' ladies, the Rednecks don't care.

M249s - The first ones were lousy, and felt like cheap-ass tin. But dammit, they throw lead - and a ton of it. Nothing like a hilltop of support fire with 4 of those tearing up the OBJ. And I bet they are awesome for defending group rides!

i think some pepper spray would be the more practical alternative to both the lock and the squad automatic...

You never buy the first ones - you let the schmucks do it for you.

Not in my neighborhood. That's like Binaca to some of these mugs

There was a guy here with literal bullhorns (maybe they were deer antlers) in place of bullhorn bars. Hot gear for the urban redneck.

always remember to spray it downwind.

[and get the fu<k out of there after you've done, that stuff is stupidly potent and hangs in the air for a really long time.]
