this hurts....i'd have to get rid of one of my other bikes to afford it/have space for it....

god damn it's such an amazing deal if i can get it for $300 + shipping, and i know the only reason it's not more than $202 right now is because it's in england and no one wants to pay for shipping...alkjfv aglkjbnwg;kjlheratfvibnlk

Wanna know what really hurts?
To me, it's only at £100, I can go pick it up from the seller.
But his reserve has not been met. And I'd bet it's much more than you'd be willing to pay since things usually go £ for $ And more than I could afford. I had to pass on a complete chromed lugged-steel bike for only £140 today
If it was listed on ebay.co.uk the price would be waaay up there right now!

it says the reserve is $275. which, i'm guessing is around $150 for you....if it's your size, go for it...i could probably swing $275 + the 115 for shipping...but not too much more than that...unless the seller actually means 275 pounds.

No, personal sale. It was sooo nice tho. No maker labels tho, only thing I could find on the frame was the Campy dropouts.
Luckily another American bought it and said he'd sell it to me when he leaves in Dec.

AAAHHH!
I didn't see that "a reasonable $275"! Sounds like you might could have a deal in about 5 hrs!
I really would've thought the reserve to be much higher, more like $400 or so. And if he's got it listed in US$ then that's what he's gotta sell it as. He also gives a much lower exchange rate than the actual current one! $1.70 =£1.00 as the actual rate is more like $1.85 =£1.00.

If you or anyone else is interested in vintage track bikes or conversion candidates
then you should remember this seller because he has these on offer quite often.

man, the moderators edited my title ..

i just looked at a tape measure, and found out that the 21in top tube is 53cm, which is 1cm too long for me. and the 52cm seat tube might end up being too tall for me...my other trackies are 48 and 50, and they're a bit smallish, but my 50cm roadie (a pinarello) is just my size. sure, i could make up the extra cm with a shorter stem, and make my seat a little lower, but, it still probably wouldn't feel right. oh well. i've got two wonderful track bikes already, and i can't really see myself parting with either at the moment.
