Nah man Im saying that your "niche" clearly is inaccurate and does not fit since almost everyone on this forum with a kilo is a typical BFSSFG dude. You were implying sexist and negative generalizations from a few comments, saying that the typical kilo owner is a women/poser who does not ride much, which is clearly not true especially if you are trying to "reveal some truths so the OP can make an informed decisions."

Im not saying the kilo is a perfect bike, Im only posting facts and personal experiences with one of the bikes in question. You are the one creating niches and claiming that the tt is 'fake and cheesy' never having owned one. Supporting your LBS is great, but it isnt what the OP is asking about. Iros and kilos ar eboth mail order bikes for the most part.

Nope, you might want to re-read it. I said "I guess that's a niche that BD bikes are good for too" <-again, too means "additional", not exclusive to, ya know?

fake= Mercier. it's not a real Mercier. I'm really sorry I find that cheesy, it's just my opinion. No need to get your panties twisted.

Yes I know they're mail order bikes. i asked him why he's ruled out the LBS: no response. people shouldn't rule out LBS.

keep antagonizing me and I'll keep posting

No. Just because a frame is made in the same factory doesn't mean it's the same bike.

You misunderstood me mate; i didn't say the bikes were the same I was just talking about the origin of BD bikes, although it might've sounded that way.... i should've added that^ to clarify....

narcissistic much?

I really don't think that other companies using Kinesis to build thier bikes actually do R&D either. They do what BD do, just say, "I want a frame with these colours, these dropouts, these braze-ons and these parts". Some companies do do R&D, Specialized, Trek, Norco, Intense for example, but even for these companies, the low end of the market, they often outsource to other factories and just provide a list of what they want.

BD actually gets input from us, so we can have the bikes we want, at the price we want!

Yeah their R&D is kinda like throwing poop to the wall and see what sticks lol
Ah I'm just playin with BD, such an easy target. If people ride bikes I'm all for it!
