Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Nothing against it. I was more curious as to what exactly you were doing to create the effect?

S'all good. Mainly just tweaks in contrast and black point on Aperture (the software) to "soften" things up a bit.

Apologies, as I misunderstood this thread as to post one's own bike. Sorry about that.

Yes, my name is Joey and my frame was made by Mr. Frank.

google "cracked thomson stem"....
it's more common that you'd think.

and regarding that seatpost....
"This is not an uncommon crack for a Thomson Elite. I have had the same thing happen and I cant say it was due to over tightening. I only seen them crack on the laser etched scale side and have never seen one crack on the opposite side. In my opinion the laser etching has caused a stress riser causing it to be the weakest link, design flaw."
