wheelset for a kilo
Th prices here seem to be pretty good, but i was wondering which wheelset (flip-flop) on this site would be a good upgrade for a kilo tt. Oh yes, I've decided on the stripper in raw. The guys from bikes direct recommended this site. I will be using it to bomb around to bomb around town, so a nice balance between strong and light would be good. I don't really care if it is colored or not, just want a good solid wheel.
Danke If you can think of a better wheelset for a reasonable price elsewhere let me know. |
Get off the drugs.

Did i try to sell you something, or did i ask for opinions/advice? Ok, so even if the prices are horrible, which would be a decent quality. Thanks for being helpful and patient with someone who doesn't know as much as you.

If you want a solid wheel set, ask someone to build it up for you, hand-built wheels are better than stock wheels. Well, of course, a good mechanic is required. This site has some pretty decent wheelsets for a fairly good price. |
Hey, I'm sure that BD sends people here to see what they say about the various Bikesdirect offerings.
To the OP, just go on KSL and you'll find plenty of complete bikes going cheap, because someone dropped a bunch of money into a bike, and then realized he can't get any TP with it in Utah. Buy the complete, swap the wheels with your wheels, and sell it for what you paid. No one will know the difference. Or trade it to someone from West Valley for a cheap 9mm. |
the stock wheels are fine! Get a spoke tool and learn to keep it true! It's not hard! Actually it's really easy!
It's amazing how a $5 spoke tool can save you hundreds in wheel costs! |
