How much does your fixie weight? Mine is 7,65 kg (that's kilograms, you Americans!)
Have not used any 'stupid light' parts, but still pretty good, methinks!

No idea. Light enough to lift it up the stairs, which is as light as it needs to be.

I weighted my Soma just out of curiosity last friday... mainly because there was a big electric scale handy

Pissed me off the other day, met this woman who used to work at a bike shop and was a mechanic. She built up some Giant frame with Dura Ace parts. The f'n' thing weighed less than my Pista. Grrrrrrr.

About 19 lbs (8.4 kg).

That's w/ cyclo tires, double crankset, and cro-mo mtb fork.

So pretty light.

lighter than my friend's colnago c-40 with record 10 and kryserium wheels, or so he claims. That made me laugh heartily.

that because colnago uses a pound of paint for their clown frames. ;)

Never weighed my bike but this piqued my curiosity so now I have. It's 18lb. I suspected more, around 20 but it's nice to know that it's 18.

I've got a cannondale that's around 15 pounds or 6.8 kg

Think mine was about 17lbs, but it now has a steel fork instead of alloy, no brakes and tri bars, so it could be more. Wasn't terribly accurate with the scales either. I'll weigh it again when it's all back one piece (and take some snaps too :) ).

ha ha i totally agree. they are so overdone and corny. and the guy on the top tube it riding a mtb if you look close.

overdone and corny and a ____ing work of art. the diamond chainstays are gorgeous. but, opinions are like ***holes, everyone has them and most of them stink

my iro weighs 17 pounds and my peugeot is 22. i haven't weighed my bianchi pista, but i would imagine it weighs around 20ish.
