Was just thinking

about how nice Spring is. You know, warm weather and stuff. So I was thinking about how I like to ride bikes, and then all of a sudden I thought about how much I like pho. You know, Vietnamese soup. After much consideration I realized those are my two favorite things in my day-to-day. Of course trips and cool events are better than pho, but just a good commute/ride, and a weekly bowl of pho are the best in the normal grind. Girlfriend is good too, of courze.

So yea, if you don't like pho, you're crazy.

Cliffs: bikes, pho = awesome.

Bluegrass jams are pretty fun.

I like the fact that girls are now wearing shorts.

Amen!

Hell yeah, can we turn this into the bluegrass jam thread? Play mandolin whilst riding my fixie?

Squirrelli 05-04-10 07:11 PM

I like toast with butter or Nutella.

Much easier than playing guitar whilst riding! That's why I switched! (Collings MT owner here!)

Nutella is bad. In a bad way.

But anyway BLUEGRASS. Foggy mountain breakdown!

Today I baked my own bread from flour that I ground myself from wheat I grew myself. I think this is a thing everyone should do once in their life. And then spread it with butter or nutella.

Anyone else in Tucson who went to the Folk Festival in downtown? Good music, but got a flat on the way home and had to walk back...

Wow, I've made bread with bread makers.

I am stoked for the Folk Fest in Vancouver in July though, going to be a blast!

Sounds cool. I'm moving to Tucson in about a month.

Cool man, its a pretty big change from CA, but you'll come to like the desert. I find it's not one of those places that just immediately jumps out at you, you have to put a bit of work into discovering the desert... but if you put in the work it's a really great place.
Bike west on 6th/St. Mary's, up "A" Mountain, continue west and merge with Speedway/Gates Pass rd, and ride west until to some fun hills!

I've been to Tucson a lot, I live in a semi-desert area anyway. You'll have to show me them hills.
