Need some help with upgrading my pedals
the pedals i have on my bike now are starting to spin less freely. they're from my girlfriend's kilo tt, whatever pedals those are.
i'm looking to upgrade to a better setup but i need some advice so i don't just do a side grade. I would like them to be as light as possible but that's not a priority. cost is probably the the main factor, hoping to spend less than 50 with clips and straps if possible.
any suggestions\? not looking to go clipless, i like being able to wear any shoe i happen to have on that day.

Your cog is slipping.
MKS GR-9s may be a good option. Bell's Bike Shop has them complete with steel clips/leather straps for 45 bucks.

I'm considering getting the MKS GR-9s as well. The pedals look sweet, and they might help with pedal strike, I've been striking a lot lately.

i have pretty small feet too, size 8.5. do you think those clips in that auction are going to work well for me?

They may be a little big unless you wear bulky shoes. Bell's will most likely swap them out for mediums if they have them in stock and you ask nicely.
edit: just realized they are already mediums. You're all set.

Alright i think i'm going to hunt around for a bit still, but i'm most likely going with those gr-9s that come with clips and straps.

I HATE my GR-9 pedals. They are way too narrow and so the straps always get caught on my feet when sliding in. I have double straps now and it is just as bad. I also hate the lip at the front that makes the clip have to be about 4mm lower than the pedal. That means my toes of my shoes won't easily slip into the front (did testing with the straps off).
Going back to Sylvians and my 105 SPDSL's for longer rides.

Otherwise it is a nice pedal, I've had no other problems with them.
