Scrod uses both Eighth Inch cog and crankset and he's a mechanic, he'll be able to answer your questions.

Lack of preparation on your part does not constitute an emergency on [Scrod's] part.

You could always send him a PM.

Here I am! Apologies, as I was sleeping. I do that occasionally.

I love my EighthInch chainring, cog & lockring and for the money, I don't think they can be beat. I just picked up a full crankset for a bike my wife is building and I'm impressed by the overall quality. I say go for it. 165s all day long.

That UN54 BB won't last forever but will be fine. Get a 107mm.

Hope that helps!
