I have seen those photgraphs before on ebay from a seller based in signopore.

jitensha! 09-01-04 06:00 PM

i remember the ciocc from singapore, same color and chrome, but it was a dual 700c. this might not be the same bike. moot point anyway, 'cos i ain't buying it...

hammye 09-01-04 06:05 PM

I only wanted to raise an eyebrow to it. Just incase anyone intrested in it would be a little careful when purchasing.

jitensha! 09-01-04 06:45 PM

just did a search. different frame. his (singapore guy) was red and dual 700c.

2Rodies 09-01-04 06:46 PM

That is sweeeeet! I used to have Ciocc road bike and they rock I really miss that bike....

hammye 09-01-04 07:19 PM

you're right. but that one was also a dual 700. the craigslist frame is 700 rear 650 front. compare the forks. not that it matters. thanks for helping me pad my post count, tho...

Cool frame , I had a Ciocc SL track bike . Black with yellow decals .Flat fork crown and chrome. Chrome Rear Dropouts and right stay. Full Camy Super Record pista .. All Steel.. I miss mine too.

700 in the back and 650 in the front is a pain in the ass! You can't cheep out on a wheel set with those dimensions (of course thats if you want a matching set). Also if you want matching tires your looking at about 100 for the set. But I love it!

absntr 09-01-04 09:13 PM

Those photos look the same almost - red tile, etc. Maybe this guy bought it off ebay and is now selling it?

heh. my c'dale has 28 front/32 rear suntour superbe pro hubs. i've also got a pair of 28 hole dura-ace 10mm pitch hubs that need to be built (need to find another 28h araya hard anodized rim). i already know about non-cheap, pain-in-the-ass wheels. thanks for the advice, tho...
