Dawes SST and origin8Crankset fit?

I just got my Dawes sst today (love it)
and i am planning on changing the crankset to the origin8 crankset

I was wondering if the origin8 propulsion crankset (it's supposedly for a 107mm square taper bb)

the SST says it has a semi cartridge bearing 108mm BB.

Will the origin8 crank fit?

Welcome aboard first and foremost, with that out of the way here come the questions . . . why do you want to change the crankset if the bike is brand new?
There is nothing wrong with the FSA Vero cranks whatsoever unless you're looking to upgrade for bling purposes. If you're just looking to tinker with the new toy then yes they should fit.

It will work.

It's the length, where as the first number is the shell width (round).

You can read about bottom brackets here: https://www.sheldonbrown.com/gloss_bo-z.html#bottom

You will also need a crank puller to get your old cranks off.

The SST comes with some crappy Lasco cranks now. Worth it to upgrade right away.

The Origin8 Propulsion cranks are also Lasco. I have a set they are stamped Lasco on the backs of the arms.

If the OP goes with RDs, he'll also need a 103mm BB.

IMO, EighthInch (Driveline) cranks are the way to go if staying within this price range.

edit: oh wait, OP wanted green. Nevermind.

interesting I didn't know that, I'm happy with my FSA's and usually only replace parts that fail so replacing my cranks is a way's off
